Staging
Empty or staged when selling a home? That is the question!
According to HomeAdvisor, homes that have been staged spend between 33% and 50% less time on the market. Staged homes attract higher offers and decrease the time the house sits on the market. 85% of homes sell for 6%-25% more than their un-staged neighbors. The reason being, buyers need to be able to visualize themselves living in the space. Is staging your home worth the expense? Studies have shown that home staging can be a worth while investment. By investing 1.3% of home’s value in staging, 73% of sellers saw a return of over 7.1%, according to RESA.
